what is a sherpa? wikipedia has it, in part, as nepalese people “employed as porters or guides for mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas. They are highly regarded as experts in mountaineering and their local terrain, as well as having good physical endurance and resilience to high altitude conditions. However, a sherpa is not necessarily a member of the Sherpa ethnic group.”

while i don’t consider myself a guru, i have devoted my life to helping others navigate the often rocky path to spiritual enlightenment. i do this by making films and music that hopefully inspire and spark the inner wisdom we are all connected to. in the process of creating and sharing, i further develop my own mountain-climbing skills.

so where am i at with that journey? i often catch a glimpse of a bigger picture… which feels like the universe dangling a carrot. i can’t say i have all the answers, but i DO understand that maybe this existence isn’t about having the answers, or even about SEARCHING for the answers. i think it’s about searching for ourselves:

…staying in the moment but connecting with infinite…
…activating the body with the power of spirit…
…releasing ego and embracing love

if we earnestly do these things, then the answers, or truth, or GOD, will find us.
